Our Objectives
Increase social awareness in Puerto Rico on dyslexia and the importance and impact of early intervention.
Provide support to students with dyslexia and other learning disabilities in order for them to reach their full academic potential.
Educate professionals on the benefits of using a multisensory structured language approach to teach reading and writing.
Certify educators in the Orton-Gillingham methodology adhering to the highest standards of the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC).
Our Goals
Train highly qualified professionals in the Orton-Gillingham methodology, a structured, explicit and multisensory approach to literacy.
Develop and implement a multisensory reading intervention program in Spanish based on the Orton-Gillingham methodology.
Advocate for high quality education that meets the specific learning needs of students with language based learning disabilities.
